Effort brings us success

The Buddha repeatedly addressed that "effort bring us success". With this penetrative phrase, the residents of Beoung Kok and their children are praised by their dedication and commitment to seek justice. Justice cannot be offered without effort. There is a contemporary manipulation of this justice effort: the original effort for the decent living and fairly treatment from the municipality to those land eviction victims are still a key mission statement. While the powerful join hand to hand with the rich to use the court as their tool, this previous trial and this releasing is non-sense and it is called by the world that "travesty of justice". Let not to forget your plate and your original land!!

Urban poor residents of Boeung Kok Lake are counter-sued by the authority

Is it a travesty of justice in Cambodia? While the urban poor residents of Boeung Kok Lake were terribly forced to leave their home and their homes were violently destroyed by the authority, they file a legal complain tot he municipal court, but now the authority is counter-suing them on the complain of defamation? Buddha mentioned that peace is justice, peace without justice is not peace; and justice is justice, no one can ruin justice by playing with it.

Forced Eviction Songs by Boeung Kok Lake Residents

This song is not only can reduce stresses from the heart of forced eviction victims, but it has become a legendary hard drive to record violence caused by development in Cambodia. Buddha said "peaceful and non-violence which are standing on dedicating mean is more powerful than forces and violence".
