Despite Opposition, Activist Monk Continues His Work (Cambodia news in Khmer)
Activist monk Luon Sovath has been internationally recognized for his work in documenting land rights abuses in Cambodia. He has been banned from staying in temples by Cambodia's Buddhist establishment but has continued to rally for rights of people forced from their land or homes by development projects. He was recently in Washington, where he spoke with VOA Khmer's Im Sothearith about his work and the challenges he faces ahead.
